Stole 96 Ivory Artifacts to Sell!

"At 6:00 PM on September 9, 2026, a citizen filed a complaint before the Nabatiye police station under the Regional Police Unit against an unknown individual, alleging the theft of his home located in the city of Nabatiye – Al-Bayad neighborhood, and the theft of ivory artifacts and sculptures worth /100/ thousand US dollars.

Immediately, orders were given to specialized units in the Information Branch to conduct necessary investigations and inquiries to identify the perpetrator and apprehend him.

As a result of ongoing follow-up, it was revealed that one individual had offered "ivory horns" for sale in the city of Nabatiye. Immediately, an information branch patrol apprehended him. It was determined that he is:

– A.K. (born in 1982, Lebanese)

Upon searching him, /96/ pieces of stolen ivory of various sizes were seized.

During interrogation, he admitted he purchased them from the individual: H.K. (born in 1979, Syrian), who is currently at large, with the intention of selling them.

The detained suspect and seized items have been handed over to the relevant judicial authority for legal proceedings, pursuant to instructions from the competent judiciary.
