The Estimation Department at the Meteorology Directorate of the General Civil Aviation Authority predicted that unstable autumn weather would dominate Lebanon and the Eastern Mediterranean Basin, with temperatures above seasonal averages until Wednesday evening. At that point, it will turn rainy due to the influence of a low-pressure system originating from the Black Sea, accompanied by cold air masses leading to occasional heavy rains, thunderstorms, active winds, and a noticeable drop in temperatures.

Expected weather in Lebanon:

Tuesday: Partly cloudy with fog on the heights and a decrease in temperatures. Scattered rain falls, especially in northern regions, accompanied sometimes by active winds and the possibility of thunderstorm cells forming in the northeast of the country.

Wednesday: Partly cloudy with fog on the heights and a decrease in temperatures, especially inland and in the mountains. Clouds gradually thicken, and the weather turns cloudy in the afternoon with scattered rain accompanied by lightning, thunder, and active winds.

Thursday: Cloudy with fog on the heights and an additional decrease in temperatures. Scattered rain falls, occasionally heavy, accompanied by lightning, thunder, and active winds.

Friday: Cloudy with fog on the heights and a decrease in temperatures to below seasonal averages. Scattered rain falls, intensifying occasionally with lightning and thunder.

Surface Winds: Southwesterly, sometimes active, speed between 15 and 35 km/h.

Visibility: Good on the coast, average on the heights due to fog.

Relative Humidity on the Coast: Between 30 and 75%.

Sea Condition: Low wave height to choppy.

Water Surface Temperature: 26°C.

Atmospheric Pressure: 1018 hectopascals, equivalent to 764 mmHg.
