The Teachers' Union urges educators not to sign new contracts or documents that alter their employment status or diminish their established rights.

The Teachers' Union issued a statement calling on all teaching staff who are officially employed to refrain from signing any new employment contracts or documents that could modify their job status or undermine their acquired rights, aiming to protect their legal and professional rights guaranteed by law.
The statement highlighted that this call follows an agreement between the Teachers' Union President, Mr. Naama Mahfouz, and the Secretary-General of Catholic Schools, Father Youssef Nasr, emphasizing the commitment to safeguarding teachers' acquired rights, maintaining their job stability, and preventing any ambiguity or reduction of these rights.
The union stressed the importance of teachers adhering to this directive and urged them to consult the union immediately if they are asked to sign any contract or document related to their employment status, so the union can review its content and ensure it does not affect their legal rights.
