The General Directorate of Internal Security Forces announced traffic measures due to paving works on Salim Salam road from Sultan Sweets to Al-Makhazen Supermarket, starting from 20:00 on 07-05-2026 until 05:00 on 11-05-2026.

Issued by the General Directorate of Internal Security Forces – Public Relations Division the following:
One of the contracting companies will carry out paving works in the Salim Salam area on the road extending from Sultan Sweets to Al-Makhazen Supermarket, which may lead to traffic congestion, starting from 20:00 on 07-05-2026 until 05:00 on 11-05-2026.
Therefore, the following traffic measures will be taken:
Preventing traffic from Al-Mazraa Corniche towards Al-Matahin – Salim Salam ascentIssued by the General Directorate of Internal Security Forces – Public Relations Division

One of the contracting companies will carry out paving works in the Salim Salam area on the road extending from Sultan Sweets to Al-Makhazen Supermarket, which may lead to traffic congestion, starting from 20:00 on 07-05-2026 until 05:00 on 11-05-2026.
Therefore, the following traffic measures will be taken:
Preventing traffic from Al-Mazraa Corniche towards Al-Matahin – Salim Salam ascent
Continuing traffic towards Al-Helou Barracks
As for citizens heading towards downtown Beirut:
It is preferable to take the Salim Salam bridge until the tunnels, or the road extending from Al-Berber towards Bechara El Khoury, or the Charles Helou highway towards Al-Sayfi – the waterfront.
Note that the internal roads adjacent to the worksite on the Al-Mazraa side are passable.
Citizens are requested to take note and comply with the directives and instructions of Internal Security Forces personnel and the traffic signs placed at the site, to facilitate traffic flow and prevent congestion.
Continuing traffic towards Al-Helou Barracks
As for citizens heading towards downtown Beirut:
