Traffic Measures on These Roads Due to Maintenance and Rehabilitation Works

The General Directorate of the Internal Security Forces – Public Relations Division issued the following statement:

First: A contracting company will carry out asphalt spraying and repaving works on Pierre Gemayel Boulevard as follows:
On 03-10-2026, from 7.00 AM to 5.00 PM, works will be conducted on the eastern lane of Pierre Gemayel Boulevard, adjacent to Fiat Bridge, specifically in front of the "Total" station. Traffic coming from the Peugeot direction – Justice Palace will be diverted exclusively onto the bridge, and motor vehicles will be prohibited from passing alongside it.
On 04-10-2026, from 7.00 AM to 5.00 PM, works will be conducted on the western lane of Pierre Gemayel Boulevard, specifically in front of the Lebanese Trust Bank building. Traffic coming from the Museum direction towards Fiat will be prevented from taking the Justice Tunnel and the road above it, and will be diverted towards Abd Square, then returning to before Fiat Bridge.

Second: On 03-10-2026, the Beirut and Mount Lebanon Water Establishment will carry out excavation works to repair faults in Achrafieh – Habib Pasha El-Saad Street, in front of the General Directorate of the Internal Security Forces headquarters and in front of the French Lycée, starting from 8.00 AM until the completion of the works.
These works will result in:
- Narrowing the vehicle passage area in front of the French Lycée.
- Prohibiting traffic passage in front of the General Directorate of the Internal Security Forces headquarters, on the road extending from the Syriac Quarter up to "BLC" bank, throughout the duration of the works.

Third: A contracting company will carry out asphalt paving works on the road extending from Rafic Hariri International Airport – Beirut up to the Al-Ahed Stadium intersection, from 7.00 AM to 1.00 PM on both 03 and 04-10-2026.
Note that these works will not lead to a complete traffic ban, as they will be executed on one lane only.

Citizens are requested to take note, comply with the directions and guidance of the Internal Security Forces personnel, and follow the traffic signs placed at the location, to facilitate traffic flow and prevent congestion.
