Former central bank governor Riad Salameh has been transferred from Bcharre Hospital to the Roumieh Prison facility, where he is now among the detained individuals. He will continue to receive medical monitoring.
The General Prosecutor of the Special Court, Judge Ahmad Rami al-Hajj, ordered the transfer of former Central Bank Governor Riad Salameh from Bcharre Hospital to the premises of the Intelligence Branch at Roumieh Prison, where he was admitted and is now among those detained.
Salameh will remain under medical supervision, and if his condition requires medical treatment or a return to the hospital, the appropriate legal and medical measures will be taken as needed, according to decisions by the competent judicial and security authorities.
