Two Israeli soldiers died in southern Lebanon, one from a drone attack and another in a shooting incident under military investigation.

The Israeli military announced late Saturday night that two of its soldiers were killed in Lebanon.
The Israeli newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth reported that the army authorized the release of information regarding the deaths of a captain and a sergeant from its forces.
According to the report, the sergeant died after sustaining serious injuries from a drone attack in southern Lebanon. The captain was killed by gunfire in what the newspaper described as an "incident under investigation by the Israeli military police," with no further details provided.
This brings the total number of Israeli fatalities since the ceasefire declaration with Hezbollah on April 17 to 17. The ceasefire has not resulted in a halt to hostilities. Among the dead are 14 soldiers and one civilian contractor killed in southern Lebanon, along with two soldiers who died in northern Israel.
