The Lebanese Army Command - Directorate of Guidance issued a statement warning citizens to stay away from two areas where military exercises with live ammunition will be conducted on May 21, 2026.
Issued by the Lebanese Army Command - Directorate of Guidance, the following statement:
"Units of the Army will conduct training exercises on 21 /5 /2026 starting from 7:30 until completion, in the areas of Al-Qaa - Baalbek and Sahl Al-Kanisa - Kafrqouq, involving live ammunition firing using heavy weapons.
Therefore, the Army Command calls on citizens not to approach the two exercise sites at the aforementioned time and place."
