Warning to Residents: This Water Is Not Safe to Drink!
The Al-Qatayn - Al-Damour municipality has warned residents that drinking water is currently unsafe due to recent test results.

The Al-Qatayn - Al-Damour municipality announced in a statement addressed to the town's residents that "based on available data and tests related to drinking water, it has been determined that the water is currently not safe for consumption."
The municipality urged "all residents to refrain from using the water for drinking or food preparation, in order to safeguard public health and safety, until the water's safety and suitability for consumption are confirmed."
The municipality emphasized that it "is following up on the matter with relevant authorities, and residents will be informed immediately upon any new results or developments regarding the water's safety, thanking the residents for their cooperation and concern for their own and their families' well-being."
