Water Shop in Sidon Sealed Over Health Violations
A water-selling shop in Sidon's Hayy al-Barad neighborhood was closed and sealed after water samples failed to meet health standards.

A patrol from the Economy and Trade Department in the south, supported by State Security personnel, raided a water-selling shop located in the Hayy al-Barad area of Sidon. During the operation, water samples were collected and sent for laboratory testing.
The test results revealed that the water did not comply with the approved health specifications and standards for drinking water, prompting the authorities to take the necessary legal measures.
Following instructions from the South’s Appellate Public Prosecutor, Judge Zahir Hamadeh, the shop was closed and sealed with red wax, with legal procedures against the owner continuing.
