Israeli Defense Minister Yisrael Katz announced that "Israel will not withdraw from the security zone it controls in southern Lebanon before Hezbollah is fully disarmed."
He pointed out that "the Israeli army continues dismantling tunnels and deploying forces aimed at controlling Mount Ali al-Taher," noting that "its forces have destroyed tunnels built by Hezbollah in the region's highlands."
He added: "Controlling Mount Ali al-Taher completes the expansion of Israeli influence in the security zone in southern Lebanon."
