Israeli Defense Minister Yisrael Katz announced that Israel will not withdraw from the security zone in southern Lebanon until Hezbollah is fully disarmed. He emphasized ongoing Israeli military operations to control Mount Ali al-Taher and destroy Hezbollah-built tunnels.
Israeli Defense Minister Yisrael Katz announced that "Israel will not withdraw from the security zone it controls in southern Lebanon before Hezbollah is fully disarmed."
He pointed out that "the Israeli army continues dismantling tunnels and deploying forces aimed at controlling Mount Ali al-Taher," noting that "its forces have destroyed tunnels built by Hezbollah in the region's highlands."
He added: "Controlling Mount Ali al-Taher completes the expansion of Israeli influence in the security zone in southern Lebanon."
