Israeli forces have uncovered underground infrastructure in southern Lebanon's Ali al-Taher heights, claiming operational control over the area. The military stated it will continue operations until all combat capabilities and facilities are destroyed.
Released by the Israeli army spokesperson was a video showing Lieutenant Colonel «M», commander of the commando brigade, speaking from the Ali al-Taher heights in southern Lebanon about operations conducted by Israeli forces in the region and what they described as underground infrastructure discovered there.
The Israeli officer claimed his forces achieved what he termed "operational control above ground," noting they had surrounded armed fighters within underground passages.
According to Lieutenant Colonel «M», Israeli forces discovered underground infrastructure built over several years, attributing its construction to Iran's proxy and the group, and confirmed that Israeli forces will continue operations in the area until all combat capabilities and infrastructure found are destroyed.
He added that Israeli forces will continue pursuing militants, referring to the possibility of reaching them inside "tunnels and hideouts," as he put it.
Meanwhile, the Israeli army spokesperson released additional footage said to show underground passages discovered by Israeli forces in the Ali al-Taher heights, confirming they have been destroyed.
