A workshop addressed Italy's aging population, intergenerational relations, gender inequality, and public administration innovation with participation from key experts and officials.

The scenario titled "Empowering Individuals and New Demographic Challenges" highlighted several issues related to Italy's gradually aging population, intergenerational relationships, and gender inequality. Topics ranged from age management to new leadership styles, employment policies, and communication models.
The program included keynote speeches by Alessandro Rosina, a full professor of demography and social statistics at the Catholic University of Milan, who discussed the generational challenge in a society lacking youth; Jonathan Chaloff from the International Migration Division at the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development, who spoke on talent attraction; and Raffaella Saporito, associate professor of governance practice at SDA Bocconi School of Management, who addressed "Skills and Leadership in the Age of Artificial Intelligence."
Maria Elisabetta Alberti Casellati, Minister of Institutional Reform and Regulatory Simplification, and Alberto Barachini, Undersecretary at the Presidency of the Council of Ministers responsible for media and publishing, also participated. On the final day, the discussion expanded to include international relations and global issues.
The event featured distinguished international participation, with speeches delivered by Helen Põld, Estonia’s roving ambassador for digital affairs and cybersecurity at the Estonian Ministry of Foreign Affairs; Fadi Maki, Minister of Administrative Reform in the government; and Rafael Vito, Vice President of the European Commission.
Italian journalist and writer Paola Alegrini described Minister Maki’s attendance and involvement as "the most refined," affirming to the National News Agency that Lebanon is emerging with a renewed appearance and capable ministers.
The discussion session titled "Ecosystems and Partnerships for a New Innovation Policy" focused on how public administration benefits from inter-institutional cooperation and public-private partnerships. The National Research and Innovation Network was highlighted as a cornerstone of a new era of innovation.
This scenario examined the evolving role of communities of practice, alliances between public administrations and major companies in state growth and innovation, and the transition from the smart city model to the "wise city" model. The scenario "Public Administrations in New International Contexts" is based on the premise that building a prosperous future requires a careful analysis of the dynamics characterizing the current global context. It explores the role of public administration in a turbulent world, addressing critical issues such as digital sovereignty, cybersecurity, and strategic foresight based on European models and experiences. This scenario included a dialogue with Nunzia Ciardi, Deputy Director General of the National Cybersecurity Agency.
