Chief of Staff of the Israeli Army, General Eyal Zamir, visited the Northern Command and the 91st Division today, Wednesday, accompanied by the Northern Command Commander, Major General Ravi Milo, Ground Forces Commander, Major General Nadav Lotan, 91st Division Commander, Brigadier General Yuval Geiz, and other commanders, as stated by Israeli Army Spokesperson Ella Wawiya in a post on the "X" platform.

During the visit, the Chief of Staff conducted a situation assessment at the 91st Division, toured the Khyam area in southern Lebanon, reviewed the "Robotic Combat Team" model presented by the forces, and held discussions with brigade commanders within the division's responsibility zone.

Zamir said: "The 91st Division constitutes the front line of defense for the residents of the north, working to entrench the concept of forward defense ahead of the towns. The reality changes and evolves constantly, but we are committed to establishing strong defense on our borders and maintaining the security of the northern residents."

He continued: "We will not allow Hezbollah to establish 'terrorist' infrastructure in the area. Every attempt by Hezbollah to entrench its presence, enhance its capabilities, or threaten our northern towns will be met with an immediate and strong response."

He noted that "Hezbollah proved again during the war that it is an Iranian arm and not 'Lebanese nationalist,' as its actions harmed the interests of the Lebanese state and its citizens," emphasizing that "the Israeli army is on alert regarding developments in nearby and distant arenas, ready to strike any entity attempting to harm us, as we have done in the past."

Addressing members of the 769 Brigade and the 869 Intelligence Gathering Battalion, he said: "You presented the 'Robotic Combat Team' model for the first time. This model reinforces the principle that the Israeli army positions itself ahead of civilians, and the innovative concept whereby robotic and technological means operate ahead of and alongside the forces. Thus, you increase our operational effectiveness and enhance the protection of our forces."

He said: "I express my deep appreciation to you for this. It is an important qualitative leap, and I noticed close cooperation between the Northern Command and the Ground Forces Command," directing them to "continue accelerating the integration of robotic capabilities into combat forces, aiming to achieve advantage and operational superiority on the battlefield."

He mentioned that "the Northern Command continues, over three years of fighting, to strike Hezbollah and strip it of numerous capabilities," noting that "if necessary, we will know how to deepen our achievements."
