An Israeli force booby-trapped and detonated a solar-powered water pumping station in Deir Mimas, causing severe damage.

A powerful explosion ripped through a water pumping station in the southern Lebanese village of Deir Mimas early Friday morning, after an Israeli force infiltrated the area and rigged the facility with explosives. The station, which relies on solar energy and supplies the entire town with drinking water, was destroyed around 5 a.m. local time.
The blast caused extensive damage to the site, located in the Haura - Ras al-Khala area near the Waqf building.
In a separate incident, the Israeli army also demolished several homes in the Ain al-Saghirah neighborhood of Bint Jbeil.
Meanwhile, Israeli warplanes launched airstrikes on the town of Sohmor in the western Bekaa Valley, following a warning issued by the Israeli military earlier in the day.
