Blair to resume filming within days despite felony charges
Sources indicate Selma Blair intends to return to work this week, maintaining her schedule despite two felony assault charges and a protective order.

Felony charges have not altered the professional trajectory of actress Selma Blair. According to sources familiar with the situation, she plans to resume filming within days, showing no intention to step away from her current commitments.
Immediate return to set planned
The actress reportedly has several acting projects lined up. TMZ noted that Blair was working on an unannounced movie prior to the incident. Sources claim additional film projects are scheduled back-to-back following this production.
At the time of her arrest, Blair was traveling from a film set to further work obligations in New York. Despite the unfolding legal case, she reportedly intended to continue with these engagements without interruption.
Assault allegations and plea
This development follows Blair’s plea of not guilty to two assault charges. Authorities accused her of kicking a police officer while being restrained on a stretcher. She also allegedly kicked a nurse during treatment at a hospital.
The report further alleged that Blair attacked two flight attendants, both of whom reportedly suffered injuries. Blair has not admitted to these assault allegations and entered a not-guilty plea to the two charges against her.
Protective order issued
The nurse involved in the incident later obtained a temporary order of protection against Blair. This order bars the actress from coming within 100 yards of the nurse.
It also prohibits contact via phone, text, email, or other electronic means. For now, the legal situation reportedly will not interrupt her acting schedule. Her upcoming movie projects remain unannounced.
