How did Olivia Rodrigo redefine her style with Schiaparelli on the THR cover?
Olivia Rodrigo wears a see-through Schiaparelli skirt and jacket for The Hollywood Reporter's October cover, styled with Tiffany & Co. diamonds.

A high-neck jacket paired with a skirt slashed by teardrop openings defined Olivia Rodrigo’s appearance on the October issue of The Hollywood Reporter. The singer reclined on a worn sofa in head-to-toe Schiaparelli, trading typical pop-star sparkle for sharp tailoring and exposed skin. Diamond drop earrings balanced the ensemble, while the cutout skirt transformed a buttoned-up look into something bolder.
Schiaparelli Fall/Winter 2026 Details
The 23-year-old appears alongside a story by Ethan Millman titled “Olivia Rodrigo: The Queen of Sad Finds Her Happy Place.” Fashion fan page Olivia Rodrigo’s Clothing identified the jacket as part of Schiaparelli’s Fall/Winter 2026 collection, listed at $6,100. Known as the “Giraffe” jacket, the black, fitted piece features a stand collar and a row of gold buttons.
The outfit’s centerpiece is the matching cutout skirt from the same collection. Dark fabric mirrors the jacket above it, with elongated teardrop-shaped openings running down one side from hip to hem. These cuts reveal flashes of skin from every angle without loosening the silhouette. Small gold buttons line the edges of the cutouts, adding metallic accents that match the jacket’s hardware.
Accessories and Production Credits
Shoes continued the thematic consistency. Rodrigo wore Schiaparelli velvet keyhole pumps priced at $2,000. Her only jewelry consisted of Tiffany & Co. “Tiffany” Knot Drop Earrings set in white gold with diamonds, valued at $9,400.
The shoot took place at The Ebell of Los Angeles, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Chloe Delgadillo handled styling, while Melissa Hernandez did makeup and Owen Gould managed hair. Emma Summerton served as the photographer.
Career Milestones Context
This cover release coincides with significant professional achievements for the artist. She recently headlined the Olivia Rodrigo Festival, a charity event she organized. Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter, she noted, “It felt like it was my wedding.” Additionally, her third album launched earlier this year, recording the biggest opening sales for a female artist in that period.
