Jordanian Artists Syndicate Cancels Saba Mubarak's Membership Over Financial Noncompliance
The Jordanian Artists Syndicate revoked Saba Mubarak's membership among 21 others due to failure to meet required financial obligations.

The Jordanian Artists Syndicate announced the cancellation of actress Saba Mubarak's membership, along with 21 other members, for not completing the required financial procedures.
Dr. Hani Al-Jarrah, the head of the Jordanian Artists Syndicate, confirmed the validity of the decision, stating that it was officially issued by the syndicate's council. He explained that the decision is based on the regulations governing the syndicate's work as part of a plan to organize members' status and ensure adherence to internal bylaws.
The syndicate stated that the membership cancellations resulted from the failure of the affected members to rectify their financial status. This included neglecting to pay annual subscriptions, fees, due financial returns, and contributions to the syndicate’s fund, despite being granted a deadline to settle their accounts.
Official notifications were sent to all members affected by the decision, informing them of the termination of their memberships. Among those notified were Saba Mubarak, Jameel Brahema, and Wissam Al-Breihi.
This decision represents the second batch of membership cancellations issued by the elected council of the Jordanian Artists Syndicate in March 2026. Previously, the council had canceled the memberships of 25 artists for similar reasons, as part of measures aimed at compelling members to fulfill their financial obligations to the syndicate.
On the artistic front, Saba Mubarak’s most recent work was in the television series "Ward Ala Full Wa Yasmin," a social drama centered on a love story between two individuals from different backgrounds who face numerous challenges in their relationship.
The series featured Ahmed Abdel Wahab and Fadwa Abed alongside Saba Mubarak. It was directed by Mahmoud Abdel Tawab and written by Wael Hamdi and Amr Samir Atef.
