Is marriage next for Sydney Sweeney and Scooter Braun?

Sydney Sweeney has reportedly held meetings with two rabbis as she and Scooter Braun discuss the prospect of having children together. The couple’s relationship, first confirmed by sources in December 2025, has drawn significant media attention since Sweeney publicly displayed affection through photos posted in May.

Conversion Considerations and Family Plans

A report from Page Six indicates that these rabbinical consultations align with the pair’s consideration of their next relational steps. One source stated that the couple is actively discussing forming a family, noting that Braun feels strongly about this subject. With children becoming a central topic, the “Anyone But You” actress is reportedly giving serious thought to converting to Judaism. Neither party has issued a formal statement regarding these potential changes.

The reported meetings follow Sweeney’s recent appearance at a synagogue in Greenwich, Connecticut, where she attended Rosh Hashanah services during the Jewish High Holidays. Deuxmoi noted that the couple sat toward the rear of the venue during the visit. This event generated online speculation among fans that Sweeney was seeking to learn more about the faith.

Braun's Intentions and Past Relationships

Prior reports suggested that Braun intends to propose marriage just one year into their relationship. A source told Page Six that he is working hard to wed Sweeney, describing his efforts to include following her schedule and chartering private planes. The informant added that Braun remains focused on her until she agrees to marry him. He has also characterized Sweeney as a modern equivalent of Marilyn Monroe.

Sweeney previously ended an engagement with film producer Jonathan Davino in January 2025. On the other side, Braun’s marriage to Yael Cohen concluded when their divorce was finalized in 2022.
