Tracee Ellis Ross won a Daytime Emmy for her Roku series and wore a self-styled Mugler look to the ceremony.

The 2026 Daytime Emmy Awards marked a significant achievement for Tracee Ellis Ross, whose Roku program “Solo Traveling with Tracee Ellis Ross” secured the trophy for Outstanding Travel and Adventure Program. Following the win, the actor took to Instagram to express her excitement, noting that she had personally styled her outfit and done her own hair for the event.
Ross appeared on the red carpet in Look 6 from Mugler’s Spring/Summer 202 Ready-to-Wear collection, designed by Creative Director Miguel Castro Freitas. The “Naturalia X” line debuted at Paris Fashion Week, drawing praise for its exploration of primal instincts, flora, fauna, and references to Manfred Thierry Mugler’s “Les Insectes.”
The all-black ensemble featured a sculptural off-the-shoulder top with a deep V-neckline that dipped low across the chest. An architectural bodice transitioned into flowing pleated panels, forming an elegant train over tailored trousers. These cascading layers provided dynamic movement to the minimalist design.
Ross paired the dress with David Webb Radiator Hoop Earrings made from black enamel, diamonds, 18K gold, and platinum. Her footwear consisted of black patent leather wedge sandals with open round toes and architectural heels, while a sleek black clutch completed the look.
Her hair was pulled back into a sleek midi bun, keeping attention on the Mugler garment. Makeup included blended soft pink eyeshadow, defined black eyeliner, subtle lashes, rosy blush, and mauve-red lips.
After accepting the award, Ross shared photos from home posing with the golden statuette. She also posted mirror selfies showing the Mugler ensemble from various angles, giving fans a closer view of the dramatic styling she created herself.
