Tom Holland has introduced a new series of shandy-style beverages under his non-alcoholic beer brand Bero, drawing inspiration from his mother and longtime partner Zendaya.

At 30 years old, the actor known for his role as Spider-Man explained to Forbes that the shandy concept originated from his mother, while Zendaya’s dislike for beer influenced the creation of new flavors.

“Zendaya, bless her, has never been a drinker, so she’s never drank beer. She didn’t love the beers we have on sale,” Holland stated.

In response, Holland and his team explored alternative flavors beyond traditional beer to better suit Zendaya’s palate.

The limited-edition shandy collection includes lemon lime, grapefruit, elderflower, and blackberry yuzu flavors. It is set to launch at Target this month, priced at $19.99 for a 12-pack, and contains no alcohol.

“The idea behind the shandies was to create something authentic at the company that Z could enjoy,” Holland added, revealing that Zendaya’s preferred flavor is grapefruit.

Zendaya recently described working alongside Holland as a family experience, saying, “I get to go to work every day with my best friend, the person that I love. We bring our dogs to work; it’s like a family affair.”
