Daniel Siad, Epstein Associate, Found Dead in France Amid Ongoing Inquiries

French officials discovered the body of Daniel Siad, a modeling recruiter connected to Jeffrey Epstein, at his residence in Colombes, a Paris suburb. Siad was 69 years old at the time of his death, which remains unexplained pending an autopsy.

Deputy public prosecutor Marie-Céline Lawrysz confirmed the death and the order for an autopsy to establish the cause. Siad had recently spoken about his association with Epstein, stating, “I trusted him and believed this guy was a professional person.” He added that none of the individuals he introduced to Epstein reported negative experiences.

During an interview, Siad asserted that he thought Epstein served as a casting director for Victoria’s Secret and the modeling agency MC2, though CNN's investigation found no evidence supporting these claims. Justice Department documents reveal Epstein paid Siad tens of thousands of dollars over several years and that Siad frequently introduced young women to Epstein.

One email from Siad to Epstein mentioned a “Cute French girl in Marrakesh” who was eager to meet Epstein. Another 2018 message showed Siad searching for a “good looking young assistant.” In a separate exchange, Siad sent a photo of a woman he described as “very polite” with potential as a “model” or “assistant,” to which Epstein responded, “Too old.”

Ongoing Investigations and Allegations

Siad’s name appears over 2,000 times in Justice Department files related to Epstein. French prosecutors are conducting a criminal inquiry into Epstein’s connections to the modeling industry, which includes information tied to Siad. Additionally, former Swedish model Ebba P. Karlsson accused Siad of rape during her work in France in 1990, an allegation he denied.

Investigators also linked a German model who vanished nearly 11 years ago to the Epstein files, with records suggesting contact with Siad. Epstein himself died in federal custody in 2019 while awaiting trial on sex trafficking charges. Investigations into his associates and network continue across multiple jurisdictions.
