The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee released an ad featuring Virginia Giuffre’s family criticizing Rep. Jeff Crank for blocking Epstein file releases.

A new advertisement from the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee features the relatives of Virginia Giuffre, a victim of Jeffrey Epstein who died by suicide, directly challenging Representative Jeff Crank (R-Colo.). The spot accuses the congressman of aiding in concealing President Donald Trump’s connections to the late sex offender.
Sky Roberts, Giuffre’s brother, states in the video titled “Virginia,” “My sister Virginia was one of Jeffrey Epstein’s victims.” He explains that his sister dedicated her life to exposing the truth and that the family vowed to continue her fight after her death. However, Roberts notes, “our own Congressman Jeff Crank refused to meet with us.”
Roberts and his wife Amanda, both constituents of Crank, appear in the ad. They attempted to meet with him in 2025 to advocate for the release of Epstein-related documents but received no response. Following this silence, they protested outside his office. During this period, Crank repeatedly voted against efforts to disclose the files and did not participate in a bipartisan initiative that ultimately forced a vote on their release.
“When he had the chance to expose the truth and release the Epstein files, he repeatedly voted to cover them up,” the Roberts say in the advertisement. They assert, “Virginia deserved better. Jeff Crank covered up Epstein’s crimes to protect Donald Trump. He has no business being in Congress.”
Crank faces a competitive election against Democrat Jessica Killin in Colorado’s 5th Congressional District. The nonpartisan Cook Political Report identified this district as the fastest-trending Democratic seat nationally. Last month, the report downgraded its rating for the seat from “likely Republican” to “lean Republican.”
