Mexican prosecutors found journalist Roxana Guzmán's body and arrested eight suspects, including four police officers, in connection with her killing.

Mexican prosecutors announced on Friday the discovery of journalist Roxana Guzmán's body, who was abducted by armed men from her home earlier in June.
Two masked individuals forcibly entered Guzmán's residence and kidnapped her in an incident captured by surveillance cameras. Authorities later found her body inside a house in Veracruz state, located in eastern Mexico, where she lived and worked as a journalist.
The prosecution stated that eight suspects have been arrested in connection with the case and charged with murder. Among them are four municipal police officers.
It was further explained that the accused police officers provided logistical support, resources, and supplies to the criminal group involved in Guzmán's abduction.
Guzmán managed a local news website in Veracruz, a state that has seen the deaths of other journalists since the beginning of the year, highlighting the ongoing dangers faced by media workers in the region.
