Al-Nassr, led by Cristiano Ronaldo, face Al-Shabab in a Saudi League match as they seek to maintain their top position.

Al-Nassr will look to hold onto their lead in the Saudi Pro League when they visit Al-Shabab at the SHG Arena in Riyadh on Wednesday at 9:00 PM. The fixture is an early match from round 33 of the competition.
History between the two sides in the league shows 35 previous meetings. Al-Nassr have won 14 of those encounters, while Al-Shabab have claimed 11 victories. Ten matches have ended in draws. In those games, Al-Nassr’s attack has found the net 47 times, compared to Al-Shabab’s 43 goals.
Al-Shabab enter the match after a heavy 5-0 defeat to Al-Taawoun in their last outing. The team hopes to regain its balance and improve its current league standing. Key figures for the side include Brazilian goalkeeper Marcelo Grohe, compatriot Carlos Junior, Frenchman Yassine Adli, Englishman Josh Brownhill, Belgian Yannick Carrasco, and Jordanian Ali Al-Azaiza.
Al-Nassr, meanwhile, are coming off their first loss after a run of 20 consecutive victories, 16 of which came in the league. They aim to overcome that setback and quickly return to winning ways to protect their lead ahead of an anticipated derby against rivals Al-Hilal. Standout players for Al-Nassr include Portuguese stars Cristiano Ronaldo and Joao Felix, Senegalese forward Sadio Mane, Frenchmen Mohamed Simakan and Kingsley Coman, Brazilian Angelo Gabriel, Croatian Marcelo Brozovic, as well as Nawaf Boushal, Abdulilah Al-Amri, and Ayman Yahya.
