The training sessions of Brazilian club Santos witnessed a controversial incident, as a clash occurred between veteran star Neymar and his young teammate Robinho Junior, son of former Brazilian star Robinho, which necessitated intervention to calm the situation between the two parties.

Incident Details: A Skillful Dribble Ignites Neymar's Anger

The problem began during the training session when Robinho Junior, 18 years old, dribbled past Neymar, which angered the latter, who demanded the young player calm down. The situation escalated into a hand-to-hand clash, with Brazilian press reports indicating that Neymar slapped the young player and knocked him to the ground.

Administrative Complaint and Official Apology Settle the Dispute

Following the incident, Robinho Junior's team submitted an official complaint to the Santos club management. However, Neymar took the initiative to meet with the young player and apologize for his actions, and the issue was settled amicably, especially given the strong relationship between the two parties, as Neymar is considered a "godfather" to Robinho's son.

Context of Return to Santos and Robinho Sr.'s Situation

It is worth noting that Neymar joined Santos in January 2025 after terminating his contract with Al-Hilal Saudi. This incident comes at a time when Robinho (Sr.), the former Real Madrid and AC Milan star, is serving a 9-year prison sentence in a moral case, after a distinguished football career with major international clubs.
