Humanoid and Bosch Partner to Mass-Produce Human-Like Robots in Europe
Humanoid and Bosch announce collaboration to manufacture human-like robots for industrial automation following successful field tests in Germany.

Europe is preparing to enter a new phase of industrial automation as Humanoid has revealed its partnership with Bosch to mass-produce human-like robots. This initiative follows successful field trials demonstrating the robots' high efficiency in complex industrial environments.
The HMND 01 platform features two distinct models: a bipedal robot standing 178 cm tall and weighing 90 kg, and a larger wheeled version measuring 2.2 meters in height and weighing 300 kg. Both models can carry loads up to 15 kg and operate continuously at relatively high speeds compared to traditional industrial robots.
Bosch's involvement extends beyond manufacturing to include providing technical and strategic expertise, supporting supply chain development, and optimizing production costs. These efforts indicate a serious commitment to transforming these robots into widely available industrial products.
During trials conducted in the German city of Pohl, HMND 01 robots successfully performed complex tasks such as autonomously transporting boxes of varying sizes and weights from production lines to carts. The robots utilize the KinetIQ artificial intelligence system to independently perceive and interact with their surroundings.
Humanoid regards the test results as confirmation of its technology's readiness for commercial expansion. Bosch may benefit in the future by integrating its own motors and sensors into upcoming robot generations.
This collaboration highlights the accelerating adoption of human-like robots within factories and warehouses, driven by companies’ goals to reduce costs and improve operational efficiency. With rapid advancements in artificial intelligence, these robots could become integral to production lines in the coming years and potentially contribute to manufacturing new similar robots.
