Samsung has launched the budget-oriented Galaxy A18, featuring a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display, Exynos 1610 chipset, Android 17, triple rear cameras (50+5+2 MP), and a 5000mAh battery with 25W fast charging.
Samsung has begun marketing its newest mid-range competitor: the Galaxy A18 smartphone, positioned at a relatively low price point to challenge top-tier Android devices in the mainstream segment.
The Galaxy A18 features a water- and dust-resistant body certified to the IP64 standard. Its physical dimensions measure 164.4 mm in height, 77.9 mm in width, and 7.7 mm in thickness, with a total weight of 196 grams.
The device is equipped with a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED screen, offering a resolution of 1080 × 2340 pixels, a 90 Hz refresh rate, and an approximate pixel density of 385 pixels per inch. The display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3, designed to resist impacts and scratches.
The Galaxy A18 runs Android 17 and is powered by the Exynos 1610 processor. It includes 4 GB of RAM and internal storage options of 64 GB, 128 GB, or 256 GB — all expandable via microSDXC cards.
The rear camera setup consists of three lenses with resolutions of 50 MP, 5 MP, and 2 MP respectively. The configuration includes a macro lens and an ultrawide lens. The front-facing camera delivers 13 MP resolution.
The phone supports dual SIM functionality, USB Type-C 2.0 connectivity, NFC, an optical fingerprint sensor, and satellite-based positioning systems. It houses a 5000 mAh battery compatible with 25 W fast charging.
