FIFA Thanks Jordan After Their 2026 World Cup Exit
FIFA expressed gratitude to Jordan's national team following their exit from the 2026 World Cup group stage after three losses.

The International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) addressed the Jordanian national team as their journey in the 2026 FIFA World Cup concluded. The tournament is currently being held across the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
Jordan's team, known as "Al-Nashama," was eliminated in the group stage after suffering three consecutive defeats against Austria, Algeria, and Argentina, respectively.
On Monday, FIFA's official account on the platform X shared video footage from Jordan's locker room following their match against Argentina, which ended in a 3-1 victory for the Argentine side led by captain Lionel Messi.
The clips revealed that the Jordanian players left traditional Jordanian sweets, souvenirs, and a thank-you note addressed to FIFA and the stadium staff.
FIFA commented on the footage, stating: "Bowing out with class. Thank you for your contributions to the biggest-ever FIFA World Cup, Jordan!"
