France Demands FIFA Cancel Michael Olise's Card Ahead of Morocco Match

Reactions continue to unfold after the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) made a contentious decision permitting American forward Folarin Balogun to participate in the Round of 16 match against Belgium. This match took place on Monday, July 6, and concluded with a victory for the "Red Devils."

Balogun had received a red card during the World Cup competition, a sanction that typically results in an automatic suspension for the subsequent match. Despite this, FIFA allowed him to play against Belgium.

In response, the French Football Federation has filed an objection with FIFA, requesting the annulment of the yellow card received by their forward Michael Olise during the match against Paraguay.
