King Felipe VI Presents Spain's Final Squad for 2026 World Cup
King Felipe VI took part in unveiling Spain's final 26-player roster for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, highlighting nationwide support for the team.

In a move demonstrating strong official backing for Spanish sports, King Felipe VI of Spain played a prominent role in announcing the final roster of players selected for the national team competing in the 2026 World Cup.
The Spanish Football Federation's communication department produced a video featuring the king, who opened the presentation with a voiceover stating, "This is the list of an entire country... This is Spain's list... When the national team plays, we all play."
Following King Felipe VI’s introduction, Luis de la Fuente, the head coach of Spain’s national team, officially revealed the final squad of 26 players. The announcement took place at the "Espacio Movistar" headquarters in Madrid.
The selected players, representing various social groups and regions across Spain, include bakers, taxi drivers, fishermen, judges, booksellers, teachers, chefs, and scientists, reflecting the diversity of the country.
These 26 athletes will represent Spain at the 2026 FIFA World Cup, scheduled to be held across the United States, Mexico, and Canada.
