Ronaldo: Portugal Will Celebrate Before Facing Spain in World Cup
Portugal captain Cristiano Ronaldo expressed his happiness after qualifying for the World Cup round of 16 and said the team will celebrate with Portuguese music before focusing on Spain.

Cristiano Ronaldo, captain of the Portugal national team, expressed his satisfaction with his team's qualification to the round of 16 in the 2026 World Cup.
Ronaldo led Portugal to a 2-1 victory over Croatia in the round of 32, securing a spot to face Spain on the upcoming Monday in the round of 16 of the tournament.
Speaking to beIN Sports after the match, Ronaldo said, "It was a tough encounter. We started well in the first half and were the more dangerous side, but we retreated in the second half."
He added, "I think we felt nervous in the second half, especially after Croatia scored the leading goal."
Regarding his penalty goal that leveled the score for his team, Ronaldo stated, "The penalty helped us a lot to get back into the game after we were trailing and after my earlier goal was disallowed."
Ronaldo clarified that his team will celebrate by listening to Portuguese music before turning their attention to the upcoming match against Spain in the next round.
