A 5.0 magnitude earthquake struck the Battalgazi area in southeast Turkey early morning, with no immediate reports of damage or injuries.

An earthquake measuring 5.0 on the Richter scale struck southeast Turkey at 6:20 a.m. local time (03:20 GMT), according to the Turkish Disaster Management Authority.
The quake's epicenter was located in the Battalgazi district at a depth of 15.59 kilometers. Residents in the neighboring provinces of Elazig, Adiyaman, Tunceli, and Sanliurfa reported feeling the tremor.
The Turkish Disaster and Emergency Management Authority confirmed that there have been no immediate reports of damage or injuries resulting from the earthquake.
