Early today, a 5.5 magnitude earthquake on the Richter scale struck Yibin city in Sichuan province, located in southwest China, resulting in 13 individuals sustaining minor injuries.

The earthquake relief command center in Yibin reported that the injured were transported to hospitals for medical treatment, while 196 others were evacuated. Relief operations are being conducted in an organized manner, and no fatalities have been reported.
