Australian Prime Minister Apologizes for Comments on Kylie Minogue
Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese apologized for remarks about wanting to marry, date, and sleep with singer Kylie Minogue made during a comedy podcast.

Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has issued an apology following his remarks on a comedy podcast in which he expressed a desire to "marry, date, and sleep with" Australian singer Kylie Minogue.
During his appearance on the comedic podcast Bush Deep, the host invited Albanese to participate in a popular game that involved choosing which celebrity he would sleep with, marry, or date. The options presented were Kylie Minogue, Nicole Kidman, and Rhonda Burchmore.
Initially, Albanese attempted to avoid answering by reminding the host that he had married just six months earlier. However, after persistent questioning, he responded, "Kylie, of course," and added that he would select Minogue for all three categories.
On Monday, the Prime Minister's office released a statement in which Albanese offered an unconditional apology for his comments.
The statement read: "I offer my unconditional apology for these remarks."
According to the British newspaper The Guardian, Albanese's statements sparked widespread criticism across Australian media outlets and social media platforms.
