Cyprus Condemns Houthi Militia Attacks on Saudi Arabia
Cyprus has strongly condemned Houthi militia attacks targeting Saudi Arabia and the internationally recognized Yemeni government, citing civilian and economic infrastructure strikes in Abha, Khamis Mushait, Jazan, and Najran.

Cyprus has issued a firm condemnation of attacks carried out by the Houthi militia against Saudi Arabia and the legitimate Yemeni government. The Cypriot government described as unacceptable the targeting of civilian and economic sites in the Saudi cities of Abha, Khamis Mushait, Jazan, and Najran, along with the resulting injuries.
Cyprus affirms full solidarity with affected states
The Cypriot Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that Cyprus expresses its full solidarity with the countries impacted by the attacks and their populations. It emphasized the critical importance of upholding freedom of navigation and international law, in accordance with the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea.
