Whoopi Goldberg introduced the UFC Freedom 250 event on “The View,” noting it featured cage matches on the White House’s south lawn. She reported that one fighter used a derogatory slur against the former first lady. Sunny Hostin stated the program would not repeat the offensive remark but emphasized the importance of the president’s reaction, highlighting that the crowd laughed and Trump smirked.

Hostin linked the insult to longstanding racist and sexist stereotypes targeting Black women, describing how such comments have historically made them feel “unattractive” and “masculine.” She argued the incident demonstrated the intersection of race, racism, and sexism, and criticized Trump for not addressing the comment, deeming his silence “beneath the dignity of the office of the president” and “beneath the dignity of the American people.”
