Opposition leader Gadi Eisenkot stated that if Likud wants a unity government, it must sever ties with extremist parties and join his administration, following Netanyahu's call for national unity.

Opposition "Yashar" party leader Gadi Eisenkot stated in a remark that "if Likud and its allies want a unity government, they must break the alliance with the extremists and join a government under my leadership."
This comes after Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated in a remark that "this is the time to form a unity government in Israel."
In a recorded speech, he said that "a government relying on Islamists will dismantle the State of Israel from within, just as is happening in European countries, but much worse," referring to the alliance between Israeli opposition parties and Arab parties.
Israeli President Isaac Herzog is scheduled to announce tomorrow, Sunday, the name of the person tasked with forming the new Israeli government. "Yashar" party leader Gadi Eisenkot received recommendations from 67 Knesset members from the "Yachad," "Democrats," Joint List, United List, and "Israel Beytenu" lists, in addition to his own party, to form the next Israeli government, during the recommendation consultations held by Herzog.
