Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu warned the Israeli opposition against forming a government with Arab lists.
The final vote count results for the Israeli Knesset elections revealed the map of alliances and political balances, with a voter turnout of 77%. The Likud party topped the scene with 27 seats, leading Benjamin Netanyahu's camp to 53 seats, amid an unprecedented decline for the ultra-Orthodox Shas party, which won 6 seats for the first time since 1992.
In contrast, the opposition camp led by Gadi Eisenkot secured 48 seats, including 21 seats for his Yesh Atid party, while the united Arab lists formed a decisive bloc by winning 19 seats, tipping the balance of the situation.
