The Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs has announced the commencement of the first meeting between Washington and Tehran, which also includes the two mediator countries, Qatar and Pakistan.

A spokesperson for the Qatari Foreign Ministry expressed the country's hope that these meetings will lead to a comprehensive agreement addressing all aspects of the memorandum of understanding. The spokesperson affirmed Qatar's full support for all efforts aimed at the success of the negotiations and reaching a final agreement.

It was noted that technical and specialized groups have been established to negotiate the terms of the final agreement between Washington and Tehran, alongside follow-up groups tasked with overseeing the implementation of the memorandum of understanding until the final agreement is signed.

The spokesperson added, "We will continue, in our capacity as mediator, to work with Pakistan and the concerned parties to achieve the objectives of the negotiations."

Meanwhile, Iranian media reported that representatives from Tehran, Washington, and Doha are holding a trilateral meeting in Switzerland to discuss the conflict between Israel and Hezbollah in Lebanon, as well as the issue of frozen Iranian assets. This meeting is taking place alongside anticipated talks within the framework of the understanding aimed at ending the Middle East conflict.

Iran's official television stated that "a trilateral meeting involving Iran, the United States, and Qatar regarding a comprehensive ceasefire in Lebanon and the frozen Iranian assets is currently being held at the negotiation venue" in the Burgistein resort in central Switzerland.
