Hamas Urges Mediators to Pressure Israel on Gaza Management Committee
Hamas calls on mediators to pressure Israel to allow the Gaza National Committee to assume control and halt obstruction of the ceasefire agreement.

Hamas has called on mediators and guarantor states to take urgent action and pressure Israel to stop hindering the implementation of the ceasefire agreement.
In a statement posted on Telegram, the movement urged the swift authorization for the National Committee for Gaza Management to enter the Gaza Strip and immediately begin its duties.
The group affirmed its full commitment to implementing all provisions of the ceasefire agreement in Gaza and to continue working accordingly until the complete transfer of sector management to the National Committee.
Hamas Rejects Participation in Gaza's "Day After" Arrangements
The movement explained that the dissolution of the "Government Emergency Committee" and the resignation of its head and acting government follow-up chief, Muhammad Abdul Khaliq Al-Farra, are part of completing the necessary administrative and legal preparations to officially transfer administrative responsibilities to the National Committee for Gaza Management.
Hamas warned in its statement against ongoing Israeli attempts to obstruct the agreement's implementation and sabotage its course. It accused Israel of seeking to impose an administrative vacuum to deepen the suffering of the steadfast population and to thwart efforts aimed at restoring normal life in Gaza.
Earlier, Hamas confirmed it would not be part of the "day after" arrangements in Gaza following the announcement of the dissolution of Hamas's government committee and the emergency committee formed during the war.
Hamas spokesperson Hazem Qassem stated that the movement took a new positive step forward toward implementing its long-standing position of not participating in the post-conflict management arrangements in Gaza.
Qassem added that the announcement of the resignation of the government work committee in Gaza, while maintaining purely technical and administrative aspects to monitor the situation, was made in response to national interest and to remove Israeli pretexts.
International Peace Council Monitors Developments in Gaza
The Peace Council confirmed it is monitoring "actions rather than words" regarding the resignation announcement of Hamas's government work committee in Gaza.
In a statement, the council emphasized that decisions must comprehensively address the requirements outlined in the roadmap to strengthen governance, security, and transition in Gaza. It expressed anticipation for a successful conclusion of discussions on this roadmap, including the necessary implementation mechanisms to enable the National Committee for Gaza Management to fully assume authority.
