According to field sources, a number of Houthi militia elements located on Mayun Island and in the Bab el-Mandeb sector requested surrender to the joint forces comprising the Giants Brigades, Shield of the Nation, and tribesmen, following their encirclement. The killing of dozens of militia members on the western coast was announced.
