Iran Demands Halt to Threats Before Final Talks with Washington
Iran's Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi states that final agreement talks with Washington will not start if US threats continue.

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi declared that negotiations aimed at reaching a final agreement between Tehran and Washington will not commence if American threats persist. This statement followed US President Donald Trump's warning to "end the mission" if no agreement is reached.
In a post on X, Araghchi wrote, "Negotiations on the final agreement will not begin if the threats continue. Respect your signature."
Araghchi's message referred to a temporary agreement signed last month between Iran and the United States, which calls on both sides to refrain from threatening or using force against each other.
Indirect talks between the United States and Iran concluded last week without any public indication of progress toward a permanent ceasefire, despite a 60-day truce intended to allow diplomatic efforts following US and Israeli attacks that ignited the conflict.
