Iran's Revolutionary Guard Announces Damage to 7 Ships and Warns US of Broader Response
Iran's Revolutionary Guard announced that seven ships were damaged in the Persian Gulf, warning the United States that a broader response would follow if tensions continue.

Iran's "Revolutionary Guard" announced today, Thursday, that seven ships were damaged in the Gulf, warning the United States that a broader response would become a reality.
The Revolutionary Guard Navy stated in a press release that three violating ships caught fire after colliding with a naval mine west of the Strait of Hormuz last night.
The Navy noted that four ships transferring oil from vessel to vessel in the northern section of the Gulf were also hit after being detected, according to the statement.
The Revolutionary Guard warned that "if the US military continues its approach in the Strait of Hormuz, the scope of confrontation will extend to its bases in the region."
The Guard emphasized that "Washington's insistence on inciting ships to cross the mined passage in the Strait of Hormuz will increase the occurrence of incidents."
