IRGC announces targeting of US command center in Syria
Iran's Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced on Friday that it attacked a US command site in Syria in retaliation for the killing of Iranian soldiers in Iranshahr last night.

The Iranian news agency "Tasnim" reported on Friday that the "IRGC" attacked a US command site in Syria, in response to the killing of Iranian soldiers in "Iranshahr" last night.
The "IRGC" said in its statement that fighters from the "Aerospace Force" launched a surprise attack on the US Army Special Operations Command Center in the "Al-Tanf" area of Syria, in revenge for the soldiers killed in "Iranshahr."
The "IRGC" claimed that a radar system and a number of helicopters designated for special operations were destroyed, in addition to eliminating large numbers of US forces.
The Guard also said that Iran maintains full control over the "Strait of Hormuz," and that no oil or gas will be exported through the waterway as long as US attacks continue.
Iran's permanent representative to the United Nations, in a letter addressed to the Security Council and the UN Secretary-General, condemned the attacks targeting Iranian civilian infrastructure.
US Central Command had announced that for the sixth consecutive night, it launched attacks on Iran, affirming the continuation of undermining Tehran's capabilities and holding it accountable for attacks targeting commercial navigation.
It indicated that in Thursday night's raids, it targeted Iranian coastal surveillance, air defense, and naval capabilities sites with precision munitions, hitting dozens of Iranian military targets.
