Israeli forces advanced with nine armored personnel carriers toward a village in southern Quneitra, marking a new breach of Syrian sovereignty.

Local sources in Quneitra reported an Israeli military force comprising nine armored personnel carriers advancing toward the village of Al-Asbah in southern Quneitra countryside, constituting a fresh violation of Syrian territorial sovereignty.
The sources from Quneitra province, located in southwestern Syria, indicated that the Israeli force departed from the Tal Ahmar base. The reasons behind this incursion remain unknown, and no arrests or confrontations with local residents were reported.
Yesterday, our sources documented an incident where an Israeli army unit interrogated a journalist working for the Quneitra Media Directorate along with several citizens. The interrogation occurred directly inside the journalist’s home during a ground incursion by Israeli forces in southern Quneitra, specifically in the village of Saida Al-Hanut near the border strip. During this operation, five houses were raided, thoroughly searched, and their inhabitants were questioned on site.
This escalation coincides with ongoing Israeli military activities in southern Syria. The provinces of Quneitra and Daraa continue to experience intermittent incursions into Syrian territory, alongside sporadic shooting incidents and targeted attacks in border areas, reflecting persistent security tensions in the region.
