Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was taken to a hospital in Jerusalem late on Monday, according to Israeli media sources.

Reports citing Netanyahu’s office indicated that he is receiving dental treatment, but no further details were provided.

About a month ago, Netanyahu, aged 76, announced that he had undergone treatment for a prostate cancer tumor. He later stated that he is in good health and explained that he delayed releasing his medical report to prevent Iranian leadership from exploiting it for propaganda purposes.

During the conflict with Iran, rumors circulated on social media claiming his death, alongside speculation about his health status both inside Israel and abroad.

The Israeli prime minister has previously been hospitalized several times due to health issues. In 2024, he underwent surgery to repair a hernia, and in 2023, he had a pacemaker implanted to regulate his heartbeat.

Last year, he suffered from an intestinal infection but recovered at home.
