Israeli Sources Expect US Strikes on Iran to Continue for Several Days

Israeli sources cited by the Hebrew Broadcasting Corporation indicate that Tel Aviv expects American strikes against Iran to persist for several consecutive days. They noted that the current exchanges of fire between the two countries are concentrated around the Strait of Hormuz.

The corporation reported that US President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu have held direct talks concerning the tensions with Iran.

According to the Hebrew Broadcasting Corporation, in recent hours the United States has redeployed refueling aircraft back to the Middle East and Israel after having relocated them to Europe in recent weeks. This move follows the exchange of hostilities between US and Iranian forces last night.

The report added that Israel remains on high alert. Over the past 24 hours, Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir conducted discussions and assessments of the situation at the main headquarters in Tel Aviv alongside senior Israeli military officials from the Intelligence Directorate, Air Force, and Operations Directorate. He also maintained direct communication with senior officials from the US Central Command and the Pentagon.
