Kremlin Calls Ukrainian Attack on Iranian Ship an Assault on Tehran
The Kremlin stated that Ukraine's attack on an Iranian vessel in the Caspian Sea should be viewed as an attack on Iran itself, emphasizing the threat from Kyiv.

The Kremlin declared on Tuesday that the Ukrainian assault on an Iranian ship in the Caspian Sea must be regarded as an attack on Iran directly. It highlighted the significance of eliminating what it described as the threat emanating from Kyiv, according to Reuters.
On Saturday, the Iranian Foreign Ministry condemned the Ukrainian strike, reporting that the attack caused an explosion resulting in the death of one sailor and injury to another.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that Kyiv targeted vessels involved in transporting military shipments linked to Iran.
Meanwhile, Iranian official Iraqji criticized Zelensky and vowed retaliation for the bombing of the Iranian ship.
Dmitry Peskov, the Kremlin spokesperson, accused Ukraine on Tuesday of expanding the geographic scope of its so-called "terrorist attacks."
