Man Killed by Explosion While Attempting to Plant Bomb on Damascus-Suwaida Road
A man died after a bomb he was transporting in his car exploded prematurely on the Damascus-Suwaida road, according to Syrian authorities.

Syrian television reported the death of a man following the explosion of a bomb on the road connecting Damascus and Suwaida.
A source from the Syrian Ministry of Interior told the television, "A person was killed due to the explosion of a bomb he was transporting in his car on the Damascus-Suwaida road before he could plant it on the public road."
Initial investigations revealed that the driver intended to plant the explosive device on the public road with the aim of disrupting security and stability, inciting chaos, and obstructing the movement of residents to and from the city.
